Cidra Retirement Village

The ten million dollars federal low income housing project conceived by the Housing and Urban Development Commission of the House of Representatives in a joint venture with the Municipality of Cidra consists of the development of 160 accessible one bedroom units of 480 s.f., located on 5 cuerdas in Cidra, Puerto Rico.  To maximize the use of the irregular shaped property with steep slopes and 60% of flat terrain for recreational and outdoor living spaces the residential building was conceived as a three-story two wing structure.  The development provides 115 parking spaces for residents and visitors, a community facility of 2,200 s.f., recreational areas such as swimming pool, domino plaza, jogging trails, and support facilities such as library, medical, rehabilitation facilities to residents in this safe affordable housing for elderly residents of Puerto Rico.
