Juana Díaz Master Plan

The Master Plan was commissioned by the Municipality of Juana Díaz on 400 acres of land along the major interstate connecting the two largest cities, San Juan and Ponce.   The plan redirects the growth of the city next to the major highway to reduce the impact of the new development on the city infrastructure and to provide a new improved visual experience of the Municipality.  Two large illuminated obelisks are located on both sides of the interstate to define the entrance to the municipality and to the development.

The mixed use development provides a coherent physical plan to satisfy the needs of the growing population and those of adjoining towns. The Master Plan includes an office park, a residential development, a continuing care complex, a center for the disabled, and a Fine Arts Center.  Two hundred and sixty eight acres of land will be dedicated to a passive park along the Jacaguas River.
